Apple Canada Inc., is pleased to included the Apple Internet Connection Kit (AICK) which provides many of the tools you need to connect to, access information and download or view text, video and sound.   As an added value for Apple Canada’s customers,  you will find instructions and special incentives for establishing an Internet Account with four of the largest Canadian Internet Service Providers.

  10. For general information on the Apple Internet Connection Kit - the contents and functionality - please review the information provided with the AICK or browse the Apple Guide Electronic information.

Part of the function of the Apple Internet Connection Kit is to make accessing your Internet Service Provider (ISP) easy and fast.  Apple provides this functionality with an easy to use front end application called the Apple Internet Dialer.  The Dialer comes pre-configured to connect to a number of ISP’s that does not presently include Canadian specific providers.

  14. Accessing Canadian Internet Service Providers

To make it easier for Canadians to select a Canadian based Internet Service Provider, we have included specific information on four Internet Service Providers.  The selected companies provide local and regional access points throughout Canada.  By reviewing the enclosed information you may select the ISP who can serve your needs.

  18. You will find four folders on this diskette, one for each of the Internet Service Providers offering Apple Customers dial-up Internet Access from within Canada.  In each of the folders you will find the following information:

  20. 1) Information about the Service Provider including where they offer service in Canada
  21. 2) Special Offers for Apple Customers (different for each supplier)
  22. 3) Instructions how to connect to their service.

  24. We have also provided a more generic listing of many regional and national Internet Service Providers. Please contact the ISP directly for more information about their services and process for connecting to the Internet.
